Description

Discover the Slovenian part of the Istria peninsula, known since the Roman times as »terra magica«, starting with the medieval town of Koper, the largest coastal centre of Slovenia.
Walk along its promenade, numerous ancient squares and visit the largest Slovenian cathedral.  Continue to the picturesque villages in the interior of the Slovenian Istria at St. Peter village, known for its ancient olive oil press and Tonina house museum. The nearby Padna has been entirely preserved in its cultural heritage. Visit the famous frescoes at Hrastovlje’s church from the year 1490. Get carried away by the beautiful Istrian landscape, its atmosphere in the villages and the taste of exquisite Istrian dishes. Return to Koper / Piran port.
