Description
The mystic underground of the Postojna Cave, most prominent karst cave in the world, with the Predjama Castle, listed among the Guinnes World Records as the largest cave castle.
The guided tour of Postojna Cave will consist of a ride by electrical train and a walk through beautiful underground passages and chambers with spectacular drop stones, pillars, limestone curtains and other natural stone forms.
Continue to the idyllic village of Predjama, where you will be amazed by our fairy tale medieval Predjama Castle, famous for its dramatic setting in the gaping mouth of a cavern halfway up a hillside. Learn about the legend of the knight Erasmus - "Slovenian Robin Hood", and return back to Bled in late afternoon hours.

Good to know
Please bear in mind that it may take up to 15 - 20 minutes for the guide to get to you.
If you are based in Bled, there is no reason why you should miss touring with us. Our guide will pick you up at one of our standard and predetermined pickup locations – 12:30am (summer schedule) or 7:30am (winter schedule).
We suggest wearing comfortable shoes. A jacket or sweater is advisable, since the temperatures in the cave are around 12° C.
Weather conditions are of no importance while in the cave. This tour is a perfect pick for a rainy day.

Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle
Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Small group with our very friendly and lively guide, Urban. Loved the train journey into the caves and was surprised at how much there was to see at the castle. Urban’s tour was well paced, knowledgeable and delivered with humor and enthusiasm. On the way to and from the trip, Urban was personable and happy to chat about Slovenia and not just stick to a “script.” the caves were really impressive and the hideaway in the castle was a bonus.

Nice tour! Our tour guide Ambroz explained a lot about his country in good English.
The cave is huge and impressive. The castle is very interesting - but unbelievable how people lived there once. Roundabout Travel is serious, the van arrived before the scheduled time, Ambroz was very friendly. I would recommend this company and this tour.

Postojna is a huge cave with many different formations and Predjama is an interesting castle. If one wants to visit both locations and do not have access to car, it is advisable to book a tour. Our experience with Roundabout Travel was superlative. We traveled with 2 other couples, so it was actually a very small group. We found it to be a very professional company and were very happy with our experience.
