From Bled head on to the highest Slovenian mountain pass, Mt. Vrsic, with amazing views of the Julian Alps. Land in the beautiful Trenta valley and continue to Bovec, a melting pot of superb natural attractions. The village is famous for the emerald green alpine Soca River scenery, and has grown into a highly appreciated Slovenian extreme sports center. You can either decide to test your adrenaline skills at the white water rafting session or head to Kobarid for a visit of the WW1 museum in Kobarid.
The town of Kobarid played an important role during the WW1 period, that even the great Ernest Hemingway wrote about in his novel Farewell to Arms.
Several sites on the way crossing the mountain pass Vrsic are marked by this important historical event, offering unique views of a ropeway conveyor, pitfalls, the Russian Chapel, the Kluze Fortress, various military via ferrata and many other unspoiled features of great natural and historical value.
One final stop at Kozjak Waterfall - one of the most charming and stunning waterfalls in Slovenia before heading back to Bled.

Good to know
Please bear in mind that we have a multiple pick-up points in Ljubljana before reaching Bled, so it may take up to 15 - 20 minutes for the guide to get to you.
Rafting equipment (wetsuit, shoes, helmet, life jacket) is provided on spot and included in the rafting ticket. Make sure you bring along your swimsuit and towel.
More than one opportunity to taste delicious local flavours – cream cake, apple strudel, walnut potica just to name a few.
Since there is a moderate amount of walking, we suggest wearing comfortable shoes. Temperatures in the mountain regions tend to be slightly lower compared to those in the capital city.

Soca / Emerald River tour!
Our visit to the Soča River was an absolute blast! Our tour guide Luka was so kind and knowledgable. The Soča River and Kozjak waterfall were more impressive than Lake Bled for me personally. Thanks to the great company and amazing sights!

Emerald river tour
Great tour to perhaps the most scenic part of Slovenia. For a flatlander, these mountains were really something. We were even able to see the iconic Planica ski flying hill, thanks to the flexibility of our guide, Luka.

Amazing emerald river
I went on the emerald river and Kozjak waterfalls trip with our guide Luka yesterday. Not only is the rafting fun but the views are spectacular. This is the tour that keeps on giving. Great value for money and I would go again tomorrow if I could!
