Welcome to the land of the bora, sweeping across the landscape, unique natural phenomena above the Earth's surface as well as underneath, the intermittent lakes, disappearing rivers and many more. The Slovenian Karst, to whom, by the way, goes all the credit for naming all karst landscapes and phenomena across the world. Only 20 out of 8.000 karst caves in Slovenia are how caves and the Krizna Cave is definitely worth visiting for its numerous lakes.
Join this unforgettable adventure trip through the Slovenian Karst area, suitable for smaller groups, eager to enjoy nature. A trully unique experience is the visit of the Krizna Cave with its eight-kilometer-long tunnels full of stalactite decorations and other underground natural phenomena. Properly equipped with cave rafting equipment, you will feel like a true explorer, while taking a rubber raft down the 13 underground lakes, famous for the extinct cave bear bones.
After re-emerging back to the Earth's surface, enjoy a walking tour of the area's major sights at Rakov Skocjan nature reserve and solve the secret of the mysterious Lake Cerknica, the biggest intermittent lake.

There is a moderate amount of walking throughout the tour. Dress comfortably, take an extra sweater with you. Temperatures in the cave are slightly lower.
The best thing about private tours is that you can tailor the itinerary exclusively based on your wishes and preferences. Further arrangements / alternatives can be applied to the existing itinerary, should you wish to do so. Pick up / drop off at your chosen location.
Cave rafting sessions are subject to natural availibilities. In case of drought or too high water level, cave rafting is not possible. Cave rafting adventure
We had a great tour in Krizna Jama. Beautiful and rugged. The cave only take small groups which is great. The cave has not been transformed for tourists which is also great. Our quide equipped us with rubber boots and headlights. He also had few extra pairs of warm socks which turned out to be a good idea to wear. We took 3hour tour in the caves. We booked this tour through Roundabout, so we actually had two guides; one from Roundabout and one from the caves. We also visited other places after the Krizna Cave, so we had a full day of activity.

Private tour to caves
I took a private day tour with Roundabout and it was amazing. The tour was customized for my interests, in this case, caves. I saw three caves in one day and even spent time at one of the disappearing lakes at a place where mostly local Slovenians hang out. I was limited on time as I was in Europe on business and this was a great way to see a ton in a short amount of time and get the most out of my time in Slovenia. Highly recommend Roundabout Travel!
