Description
A visit of the Croatia Upland and a journey through the country's history. Our first stop is Kumrovac, Tito’s birthplace. A village that shows where this world leader comes from, his background and where everything started and an opportunity to explore typical architectural and ethnological characteristics as well as everyday-life of its inhabitants.
See the authentic museum exhibition representing the original ambient and function. Imagine and enjoy well presented historical periods from the 13th century to Baroque, Rococo and Classicism. Stroll along the beautifully arranged and maintained parks in Croatia with rich vegetation and fascinating panoramas. Relax in a romantic boat ride on the lake.
The afternoon is booked for the baroque city of Varazdin – also called “Little Vienna”. A chance to explore the town’s rich history and culture through its many Baroque palaces, churches and monasteries. Varazdin is a city where even its cemetery is an architectural attraction.

Please bear in mind that we have multiple pick-up points, so it may take up to 15-20 minutes for the guide to get to you.

Informative day tour
We had a very good day with Dino. He was knowledgeable and informative and stayed with us at each destination and gave us the history and background of sights. We were lucky because neither the castle nor Tito’s village were busy. It rained at Varazdin but we still did a walking tour. Good value for money; we knew we had to pay entrance fees and lunch.
