Just a short drive from Zagreb, there lies Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The guided tour includes a walk through the old town, pass numerous Baroque and Art Nouveau architectural masterpieces of the 20th century including the rich legacy of Jože Plečnik, the famous architect that shaped this city into a unique tourist attraction.
You will get to know the locals’ daily life: why Triple Bridge is actually triple, where locals buy food, how Napoleon was one of the most popular politicians, why Slovenia really lives with LOVE in its name, and more. After the tour you will most likely feel like one of the locals rather than just on a friendly visit. Free time for your own explorations afterwards.
After Ljubljana it is time to head north, towards the magical Alpine resort. For centuries Bled has been the symbol of natural beauty and home to fairy tales. Ascend the old 12th-century castle, perched on top of a steep cliff with spectacular views of the lake, the famous Bled island and the surrounding peaks. The castle often houses weddings, cultural events and important protocol meetings, but also a museum of manual printing and a wine cellar.
A boat ride with ‘Pletna’ – traditional boat made by locals, is among the must-do things when visiting Bled. Not only because of the authentic experience, but a true journey back in time. Standing paddlers will take you to the island with 99 stone steps on the way to the Assumption of Mary church and the fortune bell. Make sure not to miss the Bled cream cake, the notorious local dessert, famous all around Slovenia, before leaving town.

Since there is a moderate amount of walking, we suggest wearing comfortable shoes. Temperatures in the mountain regions tend to be slightly lower compared to those in the capital city.

Due to the border crossing with Slovenia, passport is a must! Please be advised that you are solely responsible for having valid documents during the tour. Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality and your destination.

Wonderful trip to Ljubljana and lake Bled
The guide Dino is the one who made it as comfortable as it possibly could be. The location and the planning was perfect and we couldn't ask for a better experience altogether. It was not overdone and just about the right information we needed which is how I prefer it to be. I recommend this trip to everyone who want to visit Slovenia for a day from Zagreb.

I had taken the full day Ljubljana and Lake Bled trip from Zagreb. Roundabout travels had arranged the trip very efficiently and the full credit for this goes to our guide Dino. This was one of the best trips I had taken and i strongly recommend this trip to anyone. Dino was extremely knowledgable and shared with us lot of info and interesting nuggets about the history of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana, the mesmerising lake bled and the bled castle.I will always cherish this memorable trip.

Our tour guide/driver for the trip was Antonio and he was amazing! Funny guy with lots of jokes and interesting stories and he showed us around so many beautiful and cool places. 10/10 we would go on a trip with him as our guide again!
